This statement summarizes how Way Associates, Inc dba The Way Agency ("we," "us," or "our") protects customer information. It is part of our Disclosure Center and is a customer-facing summary; it does not describe our internal security controls in detail.

Our Safeguards

The Way Agency maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect customer information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls limiting information to authorized personnel, and industry-standard practices for storage, transmission, and disposal.

No System Is Completely Secure

No method of electronic communication, transmission, storage, or technology system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, cyber events, service interruptions, data loss, vendor incidents, or technology failures will never occur.

Responding to Security Events

If we become aware of a security event involving customer information, we will evaluate the event and provide notices required by applicable law. We may work with insurance carriers, technology providers, forensic specialists, legal counsel, law enforcement, regulators, and other appropriate parties to investigate, contain, remediate, and respond to the event.

Protecting Your Own Information

Email and text communications may not be fully secure. Please avoid sending sensitive information by unsecured methods unless you choose to do so, and contact us if you would prefer a more secure way to share documents.
